There have been many instances lately where comedians have found themselves in controversy due to vulgar, personal, or sarcastic comments about politicians, the media, organizations, and other celebrities. When questioned, they often justify their remarks by calling them an expression of freedom of speech. But are vulgar comments or personal attacks on individuals really comedy
