How ego arrogance affecting your life?

Ego affect on life

Ego and arrogance are affecting our lives now more than ever. We have so much self-importance that we don’t want to listen to anybody, doing/saying things that we like irrespective of thinking right or wrong, as well as we are not willing to improve ourselves even if we know we are wrong. People with high egos and arrogance feel they are always right and even if they are doing wrong, they find it very hard to accept that. We are unaware of the damage this can cause to our lives.

But that’s not 100%, many are also aware of the consequences, and trying to improve themselves while many living with it, don’t know the damage it can cause to their lives if not understood.

Complacency – You become complacent; you think you know enough and have nothing to learn more. You are not open to new learnings & ideas and that hinders your growth.

Relationship – Because of ego you take everything at your heart even if something is said to you casually or for fun. Also, you​ want to look superior in the group, try to behave differently and this affects your relationship with others.

Decision-making – Ego and arrogance affect our cognitive ability, unable to think properly and that affects our decision-making. You can’t think clearly when living with arrogance.

Chance of failure – You become careless when you are arrogant and you don’t pay much attention to what’s going on in your life and work. You make decisions without much thinking as you believe your idea can not be wrong and this may bring you failure.
