We all may be solving many difficult problems related to life, education, work, and others, but understanding our minds and thoughts is the most difficult one; very few can master this. Every day, we experience something new in our lives, good or bad, happy or sorrow, exciting or sad, cool or anxious, so we also experience thousands of such thoughts every day.
Some thoughts are repeated, some are new, carrying different emotions throughout the day. Sometimes, we go through some strange feelings that we don’t even know about. It happens with our emotions, too; we find it hard to sense why we are experiencing such emotions.
It could be because of fear and uncertainty you may have and trouble you. But unless you find the exact cause, it will keep making you anxious.
There are ways to address such feelings and emotions, but they require practice.
Meditate
Whenever you encounter such thoughts, please don’t react angrily; while take a pause and meditate. Let the thoughts flow through your head without interrupting and try to understand what those thoughts are about and why they are coming. You need to find “Why” to make sure it doesn’t trouble you next time as your brain will understand it immediately and you won’t get stuck next time.
For eg, Is it because of some fear? Is it because of work or academic pressure? Is it because of uncertainty about something? or Is it just a scary dream you saw last night?
Note Down
Once you are able to find out, note it down and think how you can solve this. If not finding answers, then Google it.
When we know the problems, half of the problem is already solved and we need to work on the half so make efforts to solve it so it doesn’t trouble you the next time.
Talk to Your Good Friends
If still having issues with that, unable to fix that issue, you should discuss to your trusted friends or loved ones without hesitation as it’s not a shame. You may find your answer as good friends or loved ones better understand us.
Patience is Key
Don’t get irritated if nothing is working out while you need to be patient. It’s extremely difficult to understand the thought pattern and mind, it requires time. Consistently practicing meditation can help you master your thoughts and emotions, but it requires from weeks to months to years.
